Accounts Receivable

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing organisation in a key finance role. Reporting to the Credit Control Manager, you will take ownership of AR operations, ensuring strong financial control, driving process improvements, and enhancing cash collection performance.

This is a broad, hands-on role with scope to add value through improved processes, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end accounts receivable processes
• Oversee customer onboarding, including credit assessments and account setup
• Drive effective cash collection and proactively manage aged debtors
• Review and improve AR processes, controls, and reporting accuracy
• Partner with internal teams and customers to resolve complex account queries
• Manage cash sales, credit notes, rebates, and debtor reconciliations
• Support month-end close, reporting, and audit requirements
• Provide insight and analysis to support decision-making and working capital management

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or credit control, ideally in a high-volume environment
• Strong commercial awareness with a focus on cash flow and risk management
• Proven track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies
• Advanced Excel and strong systems experience (ERP exposure advantageous)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take ownership and influence outcomes
• High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
• Full driver’s licence and based in Ireland
