The Head of College, Prof Helen Whelton, is pleased to open the application process for Renewal of Adjunct Positions within the College of Medicine and Health.

Candidates who wish to renew at the same level should first discuss with relevant Head of Academic Department/ Head of School/ Head of Research functional area prior to submission.
If the case for the appointment is considered sustainable by the School, the application form should be submitted for the consideration and approval of the College Adjunct Appointments Committee.
Important information
- The call is open from Friday, 13th February 2026 until 12 noon on Tuesday 31st March 2026.
- Only fully completed applications submitted via the UCC HR portal will be reviewed by the College of Medicine and Health Adjunct Appointments Committee.
- Appointments are for three years (but subject to renewal following review by the Adjunct Appointments Committee).
- The successful appointment of an individual with one of the titles below is an honorary appointment with an honorary title.

- Adjunct Senior Lecturer
- Adjunct Lecturer
- Adjunct Clinical Professor
- Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer
- Adjunct Clinical Lecturer
