About the Role
As a Pharmacist Deployment Administrator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the right Pharmacist is in the right store at the right time, every time. Reporting to the Pharmacy Deployment and Development Manager (PDDM), you’ll work closely with other Pharmacist Deployment Administrators to maximise the effective use of resources across our pharmacy network in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all stores have appropriate Pharmacist cover to operate efficiently and safely for patients
- Deliver cost-effective holiday planning for all Pharmacists within your designated area
- Collaborate with the PDDM, Store Managers, and Area Managers to plan Pharmacist deployment to ACI standards, supporting and challenging decisions to manage costs effectively
- Support the PDDM in managing the Relief Pharmacist team, including rota planning and payroll coordination
What You’ll Need to Have
- Strong organisational and administrative skills; highly regarded by peers, Pharmacists, Store Leaders, Area Managers, and other stakeholders
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to make decisions and positively influence others
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships that foster collaboration and drive results
- A team-oriented mindset; works closely with fellow PDAs and the PDDM to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Ownership of Pharmacist deployment, ensuring excellent patient care through continuity and appropriate staffing
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a seven-day operational mindset
- Ideally, experience working in a pharmacy environment
