Position Summary
Funded by Horizon Europe under the EU Cancer Mission, TRANSCEND-XR is an innovative project aiming to co-create and evaluate a digital health intervention using Extended Reality (XR) to support adolescent and young adult testicular cancer survivors across Europe.
The TRANSCEND-XR intervention will improve awareness of late effects, address unmet supportive care needs, and enhance quality of life. Co-developed with survivors, care partners, and healthcare professionals, TRANSCEND-XR will be evidence-based, ethically grounded, and scalable in real-world settings. The Senior Research Coordinator will serve as the Project Manager for the TRANSCEND-XR project. In this capacity, they will be primarily responsible for overseeing and executing the project in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator/Project Coordinator and research teams spanning 12 European countries. Their role will encompass comprehensive project management duties, as well as active involvement in the scientific aspects of the project, including data collection, analysis, and data management.
The Senior Research Coordinator will have extensive Post-Doctoral/Postgraduate research experience as well as experience in the management and administration of large, multi-stakeholder, research projects with a working knowledge of healthcare research (preferably focused on cancer) and/or research funding agencies such as Horizon Europe, Health Research Board, and/or Research Ireland, among others.
