Your Impact

As a Senior Network Security Engineer at OpenText, you will be an integral member of our global network and network security team. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and support of enterprise network and security technologies, solving large, strategic problems. Your work will directly impact the operational excellence and security posture of our global enterprise network. Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing, maintaining, and supporting various network and security technologies typical of a global enterprise.
• Collaborating with a global team to enhance network security and ensure high availability.
• Designing and implementing security protocols, policies, and network solutions.
• Participating in strategic projects to improve the overall security and resilience of the network infrastructure.

What the Role Offers

• Opportunity to work on complex, global network security initiatives.
• Exposure to a wide range of enterprise security technologies, including Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
• Experience with VPNs, certificate-based authentication, and secure network access (Cisco AnyConnect, Prisma Access, Cisco ISE).
• Professional growth in a collaborative, innovative, and globally distributed team.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise security protocols, SNMP, Syslog, AAA, NetFlow, QoS, and more.
• Involvement in ITIL-driven change management and operational excellence practices.

What You Need to Succeed

• At least 3+ years of experience as a Senior Network Security Engineer.
• Experience in medium to large enterprise network/security environments.
• Broad knowledge across multiple disciplines within the security field.
• Experience working in a global team environment.
• Strong skills in developing technical documentation with diagrams.
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate responsibility, strong work ethics, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
