We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Procurement Manager to be located in Limerick, IE.
In this role, you will support the development and implementation of a robust Risk and Resiliency framework for Medtech Supply Chain Procurement and shape our strategy to reduce risk and degrees of single sourcing, improving our ability to respond to outages.
The successful candidate will be focused on understanding and mapping current processes for supplier risk assessments and mitigation planning across all MT businesses and developing an improved framework which enables the business to assess, mitigate and measure risk and resiliency in our supply chain. Working closely with our digital team to determine the maturity level of our data accuracy and building a roadmap for improvement, along with the implementation of digital tools to support the SCP Risk & Resiliency framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and business unit leaders to assess current processes for risk assessment and mitigation, understand business needs, areas for improvement and alignment on key risk areas
- Support the development and implementation of risk and resiliency strategies and processes across the MT SCP function in line with industry best practices
- Work closely with the digital team to assess current status of data availability and accuracy across the Medtech businesses, identify gaps and develop roadmap to improve
- Collaborate with Enterprise Risk and Resilience teams and leverage existing playbooks and frameworks for risk identification, mitigation planning and execution
- Align with key stakeholders on risk criteria, data sources and scoring methodology to highlight and assess risk areas
- Identify potential new and assess existing risk management tools and collaborate with digital team to develop roadmap for implementation to support framework
- Understand the needs of the MT business and develop resiliency metrics to track and measure key risk areas and improvements that align with our priorities
- Prepare reports for leadership to demonstrate progress on Risk & Resiliency framework roadmap, highlight key risk areas and mitigation strategies, identify support needed from leadership and areas of opportunity
- Support supplier capability development and lead the integration of resilience into our governance and operating models
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to embed resilience into procurement processes and supplier relationships
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required preferably in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in relevant work experience
- Good understanding of Business Unit Supply Chains and End-to-End (E2E) platforms and value streams in the MedTech industry is preferred
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with various collaborators across functions, business units, enterprise teams and the broader supply chain
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complexity and prioritize tasks optimally
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
